The red shouldered Hawk is a medium-sized bird. It's breeding range spans eastern North America and along the coast of California and Northern to Northeastern central Mexico. It is a permanent resident throughout most of its range, though Norden birds do migrate, mostly to central Mexico. Rounded wings and medium length tales that they fanout when soaring In-flight, they often glide or soar with their wingtips pushed slightly forward. Beside the fact that I grew up there and I love the country, I have always felt that Hungary is a paradise for photographers, with beautiful lakes, mountains and rivers.
