Picture was taken in 2022 September this is a close-up of the red shouldered Hawk I used the 600 mm lens to get this close-up shot , I also used a small amount of flash just to bring out a little more details in the shadow area. The red shouldered Hawk is a medium-sized bird it's breeding range spans eastern North America and along the coast of California and Northern to Northeastern – central Mexico. Adults are colorful hawks with dark and white checkered wings and warm reddish barring on the breast. The tale is black with a narrow white bands. Immature's are brown above and white below streaked with brown. All ages show narrow, pale crescents near the wingtips in-flight. I am very pleased the way this image turned out I hope you enjoy this photograph as much as I do and thank you for your visit.
