Description
Picture was taken 2021 mid November on a quite chilly day. The rock 'n roll Hall of Fame foundation was established on April 20, 1983, after a long search for the right city, Cleveland was chosen in 1986 as the Hall of fame's permanent home. Architect I.M.Pei designed the new Museum, and it was dedicated on September 1, 1995. The museums first major exhibit opened on May 10, 1997. It was called I want to take you higher: 1965 – 1969 it included memorabilia from numerous artists including John Lennon, Eric Clapton, John Sebastian, Jefferson Airplane, and Janis Joplin, the exhibit was followed by Elvis is in the building, which ran from August 8, 1998, to September 5, 1999. This year – long tribute was the first exhibit devoted to the single artists, Elvis Presley – the King of rock 'n roll and the first inductee into the RRHOF, in 1986. I hope you enjoy this image as much as I do and thank you for your visit.
