Picture was taken in 2021 in June on our vacation in North Carolina, the pier was damaged a year earlier by the storm if you look closer you can see some of the polls are missing currently they only allow you to go on on the very front part of it the rest of the pier is being shut down. In this image it's not necessary what I saw at the time but how I see it before I took the shot, exposure time 1.8 second as the water receiving from the shore creating almost like a painterly look.
